Terms of service

Last updated: November 6, 2026

These terms explain the rules for using BrieflyAI. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use BrieflyAI. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

1. What BrieflyAI is

BrieflyAI gathers news stories from public publisher feeds and news services and uses artificial intelligence to write short summaries and key takeaways. It also hosts a Community Hub where registered readers can post articles and comments. BrieflyAI is free to use.

2. AI summaries can be wrong

Summaries and takeaways are generated automatically. They can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. They are general information only and are not legal, financial, medical or any other professional advice. Read the original article before relying on a story, and do not make important decisions based on a summary alone.

3. News belongs to its publishers

Headlines, descriptions and articles shown or linked on BrieflyAI belong to their publishers. BrieflyAI links to the original source and does not claim ownership of publisher content. If you believe something on BrieflyAI infringes your rights, email vbansal639@gmail.com with the page link and the details, and we will review it.

4. Your account

You only need an account to bookmark, comment, react, post or share a testimonial. Keep your password safe, because you are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not impersonate anyone. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your profile.

5. What you post

You keep ownership of the articles, comments and testimonials you submit. By posting, you allow BrieflyAI to store and show that content on the site and in its feeds, such as RSS, for as long as it stays on BrieflyAI. You confirm you have the right to post it.

When you send a testimonial and agree to publish it, you allow BrieflyAI to show it on the website with the name and details you gave. We review every testimonial before it appears, never change your words without asking, and remove it whenever you ask.

6. Community rules

Do not post anything that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or threatening
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy
  • is spam, advertising or deliberately misleading
  • contains malware or links to harmful sites

Content that breaks these rules may be removed, and accounts that keep breaking them may be suspended or deleted. You can report community articles from the article page.

7. Using the site fairly

Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of BrieflyAI, including its rate limits. Do not copy the site's content in bulk or resell it without written permission.

8. Changes

BrieflyAI may change, pause or stop any feature at any time. We may also update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. No warranty and limits of liability

BrieflyAI is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, BrieflyAI and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, relying on a summary, or not being able to use the site.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
